Michael Morrow BSc BVSc MRCVS
Michael is an experienced veterinary surgeon and co-owner of St Vincents Veterinary Surgery with his wife Nancy. Michael qualified in 1995 in Pretoria, South Africa, and moved to the UK in January 2000.
As a senior figure in the practice Michael ensures that client communication and understanding is paramount to all facets of the care we provide. Often a regular face in the consulting rooms, Michael also enjoys the challenge of soft tissue surgery including tumour resections and wound repairs. Michael has always had a place for animals in his life, and the family currently own two dogs, Scruffy and Paige, and two cats, Echo and Lightening. Look out for Michael on the roads around Wokingham as he restarts his attempt to get fit running with Paige the newest addition to the family!
Katie Love MRCVS
Katie graduated from Bristol University in 2011 and has worked in small animal practices in Berkshire and Aberdeenshire. She started as a locum in February 2016, and enjoyed her time with us so much she has decided to accept a permanent position and has settled back in Berkshire. She has a particular interest in small animal medicine and has completed her RCVS certificate in small animal practice. She also particularly enjoys working with feline patients and has 2 cats of her own, Winnie and Buddy. Outside of work, Katie runs and takes part in Tough Mudder Challenges and hopes to recruit other members of the practice to join her this year!
Claire Turner MRCVS
Claire graduated from Cambridge in 2014 and then worked for two years at a small animal practice in Norfolk. She grew up in Earley with her rabbit, cat and dog and has now returned to the area and joined the practice in October 2016. She brought with her the kitten she re-homed in Norfolk and he has happily settled into his new home. Outside of work she enjoys travelling and water sports. In the summer you may find her out on the lakes and rivers of Berkshire.
Co-owner of the practice with Michael, Nancy’s role as practice manager has grown with the practice, and she is now responsible for the behind the scenes and often unappreciated work to keep our busy practice on an even keel. Nancy grew up in Cape Town South Africa, and after school completed a BSc in Mathematics at the University of Cape Town. She moved to Wokingham with her husband Michael in January 2000, and together they started St Vincents Veterinary Surgery in 2005. Proud mum to her two children and the ever growing collection of animals at home, she is a dedicated and caring team member who is always willing to help.
