Our Vets:
Michael Morrow BSc BVSc MRCVS
Michael is an experienced veterinary surgeon and co-owner of St Vincents Veterinary Surgery with his wife Nancy. Michael qualified in 1995 in Pretoria, South Africa, and moved to the UK in January 2000.
As a senior figure in the practice Michael ensures that client communication and understanding is paramount to all facets of the care we provide. Often a regular face in the consulting rooms, Michael also enjoys the challenge of soft tissue surgery including tumour resections and wound repairs. Michael has always had a place for animals in his life, and the family currently own two dogs, Scruffy and Paige, and two cats, Echo and Lightening. Look out for Michael on the roads around Wokingham as he restarts his attempt to get fit running with Paige the newest addition to the family!
Claire Turner Ma VETMB MRCVS
Claire graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Cambridge University in 2014. She joined the team at St Vincent’s in 2016 and enjoys the variety that general practice offers including getting to know her clients and their furry friends.
Claire spends her free time lounging with her two cats Spider and Bea, baking and going on long walks in the countryside with friends and family.

Nancy Morrow
Co-owner of the practice with Michael, Nancy’s role as practice manager has grown with the practice, and she is now responsible for the behind the scenes and often unappreciated work to keep our busy practice on an even keel. Nancy grew up in Cape Town South Africa, and after school completed a BSc in Mathematics at the University of Cape Town. She moved to Wokingham with her husband Michael in January 2000, and together they started St Vincents Veterinary Surgery in 2005. Proud mum to her two children and the ever growing collection of animals at home, she is a dedicated and caring team member who is always willing to help.
Our Nursing Team:
Emma Scicluna BSc (Hons) RVN
Emma gained her nursing qualification at Bristol Vet School in 2010 and has been with St Vincents ever since. Throughout her training and during her time with the practice she has gained a keen interest in radiography, surgical nursing and hydrotherapy. During work she will often be found enjoying time with our doggie patients or completing admin tasks.
Outside of work, after caring for her two children and two dogs, she tries to find time to listen to and play music.
Louise Holland BSc RVN DipAVN ISFM CertFN
Louise qualified in 2016 and achieved a Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing in May 2021. She joined the team at St Vincent’s Vets in December 2021 and has a keen interest in feline-friendly nursing so can be found making friends with our feline patients, especially with oriental and British shorthairs. Louise also loves clinical coaching, anaesthesia and rabbit nursing.
At home, Louise enjoys spending time with her partner, two cats and two mischievous rabbits as well as baking, cross-stitching, video gaming and gardening.
Hadley Thompson BSc (Hons) RVN
Hadley first joined the team at St Vincent’s in October 2020 as a student and has now qualified with a Degree in Veterinary Nursing from Harper Adams University in June 2022. She enjoys holistic medical nursing, brachycephalic anaesthesia and radiography. She also has a keen interest in wound management and emergency critical care.
In her spare time, Hadley is a cheerleader competing at a national level. In 2023, she will be competing internationally for the first time at ‘The Cheerleading World Championship’ in The Walt Disney Resort, Florida. Hadley also has a Yellow Labrador called Frank and has a soft spot for small furries.
Nic Charie FdSc SVN
Nic is currently in her final year of training at the Royal Veterinary College to become an RVN. She joined the team in 2021 as part of her university placement and began working full-time in 2022. Nic has a keen interest in surgical preparation and anaesthesia. She has a love for terrier breeds and will be found cuddling them at any opportunity.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, going to concerts, and spending time with her family and girlfriend. She also loves going on long walks with her two dogs, Bailey and Phoebe.
Jane Bacon
Jane joined the team at St Vincent’s in 2019 after 16 years of service as a paramedic in both the UK and Australia. She shares her time woking on reception and as a swimming teacher for children.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and going on walks with her dog Banjo.
